Order ICOAL solid fuel, Assortment
This page presents the entire range of ICOAL solid fuel for boilers, stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, and other appliances. Solid fuel is suitable for boilers with any loading method: automatic or manual feeding.
Solid fuel is classified as one of the types of biofuels, as it is made from natural materials or is a product of processing plant-based waste. For example, wood briquettes are produced by compressing sawdust under high pressure, which binds them together with natural wood resin.
Types of solid fuel
– Coal:
• Grade “A” (anthracite)
Anthracite is the oldest fossil coal with a high degree of carbonization, with a carbon content of 89-98%. It is the highest quality type of coal, characterized by a deep black color, strong luster, and high heat-generating properties. It is widely used in various sectors such as residential, energy, and boiler industries.
• Grade “G” (gas coals)
Used in residential sectors as a cheaper alternative to anthracite coal. It burns with a dense, low flame. It has a high burning rate, making it often used in boilers.
• Grade “DG” (long-flame gas coal)
Long-flame gas coal is a transitional coal between gas coals and long-flame coals. They have high coking properties similar to long-flame coals and higher mechanical strength similar to gas coals, and they ignite faster.
– Fuel pellets
ICOAL offers solid biofuel made from waste materials from the woodworking and agricultural industries. It is in the form of pressed granules. The following raw materials are used for pellet production:
– Wood chips
– Sawdust
– Wood shavings
– Bark
– Sunflower husks
– Briquettes:
On average, a briquette burns four times longer than firewood. Briquettes have a long and even burning. They can be used for heating homes, industrial premises, and saunas. Although this fuel is more expensive, its lower consumption makes it more cost-effective. Another advantage is the convenience of briquettes, as they need to be loaded less frequently.
Types of briquettes:
• Peat briquettes
Made from compressed peat, suitable for all types of solid fuel boilers, stoves, and even fireplaces. Peat briquettes have good heat capacity and an affordable price, making them an alternative to coal and firewood.
• Wood briquettes
Made mostly from wood chips and sawdust of oak, pine, and other tree species. Wood briquettes are produced by pressing and have high calorific value and longer burning time.
– Firewood
Wood is a versatile material used for heating premises and cooking various foods. With different types of wood species, one can choose wood with maximum heat output, a light fruity aroma, or beneficial substances released into the air during burning.
